We closed the cottage for the winter which is 3 & half hours away, when getting home and unpacked found we didn't bring the plug in electric cord for the 207 reciever. Have called two Shaw dealers, one didn't have one suggested I call Shaws directly which I haven't done yet. The other has never returned my call so looking at a long 7 hour drive to get a stupid cord. Does anyone have an idea's, would Source have something that would work?

Is this your receiver?

If so, according to the spec sheet it's a 12V DC input and 15W max so you should be able to use a generic DC adapter. Just make sure it has a 12V output and can deliver at least 1.3A (the specs will be printed right on the adapter), and of course make sure the connector fits. The Source might have one or better yet if you have a store in your area that sells electronics parts they would almost certainly have something like that and likely cheaper.
