Go to the MTS website and into your account.

You can sign up for remote PVR functionality.

This appears to allow you to see everything that is on your PVR. What is scheduled to be recorded and set-up additional recordings.

Very Cool.

Official Announcement

I noticed MTS finally issued a press release for My PVR. I also got an email announcing the service because I signed up to be notified of new services, but I didn't get it on my regular MTS email account. You can see the announcement here:

Smartphone Access Available

Here's some info from the support pages:

Personal > Support > TV > MTS Ultimate TV Service > Whole Home PVR > My PVR Online > Troubleshooting My PVR
The My PVR application works on select Smartphones, tablets, and other Wi-Fi enabled devices.

The following devices have been tested and are compatible with My PVR Online:
  • BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300
  • BlackBerry Tour 9630
  • BlackBerry Torch 9800
  • BlackBerry Style 9670
  • iPod
  • iPhone
  • iPod touch
  • BlackBerry Bold 9780
In the event your device is not compatible with My PVR, when you try to access the application, you will receive a message informing you that My PVR will not work on your device.
Edit: I think it should say iPad instead of iPod. Does anyone have a iPad to try it?
BUGS

I've been playing around with this for the last few weeks and it seems to work fairly well now - it was intermittently sluggish before, but seems fine now. It doesn't have all the features for recording that the PVR does.

I noticed a bug in the "Time" sort - when you click on the Time column heading it sorts by time. However, it ignores the AM/PM portion of the time. So you will get Tuesday PM shows intermixed with Wednesday AM shows. This happens in both the Scheduled Recordings and Recorded TV listings.
I just checked the MTS site and they've included the iPad in the supported devices as I suspected.
I logged into MyAccount and saw the following message:

Important Information: The remote MyPVR app will no longer be available as of September 14, 2022.
You may continue to manage your recording by using your Bell MTS Fibe TV set-top box.
