The contractor installed 5 ceiling speakers in my new coffee shop. Each speaker is mounted with a transformer of multiple inputs (Voltage/Power).
Speaker - Audiotrak S81005B, 8 ohms, 20 watts RMS.
Transformer - T2570 with 7 input wires:
25V-5w
25V-2.5w
25V-1.25w
25V-0.625w/70V-5W
70V-2.5w
70V-1.25w
70V-0.625w
I tried every input, all working, but different loudness. My receiver is Sony 200-Watt 2.0-Channel Stereo Receiver (STRDH100). 90 watts minimum RMS power each channel. Output Voltage: 500 mV/10 kohms.
The terminals for 2 channels are shared by the 5 speakers.
My question is - which "Votage/power" input on the transformer is best to use? How to decide?
Speaker are about 15-30ft away from the receiver. I'll buy 14 or 16 AMG cable.
Please advise. Thanks!
