MTS today announced it will offer iPhone 5 in Canada beginning Friday, September 28. iPhone 5 will be available for a suggested retail price starting at $179 for the 16GB model, $279 for the 32GB model and $379 for the 64GB model in MTS Connect Stores. In addition, iPhone 4S will be available starting at $79 and iPhone 4 will be available starting at $0 beginning today. MTS will allow iPhone 5 customers to connect to its fast HSPA+ network.

iPhone 5 is the thinnest and lightest iPhone ever, completely redesigned to feature a stunning new 4-inch Retina display; an Apple-designed A6 chip for blazing fast performance; and ultrafast wireless technology—all while delivering even better battery life. iPhone 5 comes with iOS 6, the world's most advanced mobile operating system with over 200 new features including: the all new Maps app with Apple-designed cartography and turn-by-turn navigation; Facebook integration; Passbook organization and even more Siri features and languages.

Customers who purchase iPhone 5 from MTS will also benefit from free access to all MTS Wi-Fi Hotspots.

The Connect Store at Polo Park has a waiting list (or at least they did yesterday). You write down your name and number and they will hold a phone for you for one day when they get them in.
It looked like they were getting 50 white 16GB, and 150 black 16GB. I'm not sure about black 32GB, but he said they were already out of white 32GB.

@mac2crack, I'm not sure, but Plan 1 looks the same as Talk & Surf 1GB Plan and Plan 2 looks the same as Talk & Surf Unlimited Plan. If I'm correct then Plan 1 would include "Pick 5", but you should double-check with MTS.
