Motion Computing's CL900 Windows 7 tablet is now available in Canada from Telus Mobility.

Designed primarily for business users, the 2.1-pound Windows 7 tablet features a 10.1-inch 1366x768 multi-touch display with Corning Gorilla Glass, a 1.5GHz Intel Oak Trail Atom Z670 processor, 2GB of RAM and a 30GB solid state drive.

"The majority of Canadian businesses use a Windows platform to manage their day-to-day activities. The Motion CL900 Tablet PC solves some of the key issues our business customers are facing when working in the field or moving around an office by allowing them to run the Windows applications they depend on through a mobile, large-screen table. said Telus VP Jim Senko.

Other features of the CL900 include: rear-facing 3.0 megapixel camera and front facing 1.3 MP web camera, a USB port, an SD card slot, audio in/out jack, micro-HDMI video out, Bluetooth, and Wifi.

While it certainly will appeal to the business audience, the Motion CL900 won't come cheap. Telus will be selling the device for $1,249 ($999 after application of $250 airtime credit) on a three-year contract.
