This week, it announced three new handsets onto its growing lineup: the Sony Ericsson Xperia™ X10 Android™ smartphone, the Motorola Spice™, Canada’s only sub-$200 name-brand Android 2.1 device, and the $99.99 LG Wink™ slider phone. All Mobilicity phones are sold without contracts as is the case with most consumer electronics.

I suspect it will be the X10a. Hopefully shipping with Android 2.1. An impressive addition to their lineup.

Edit: It will be $499.99

Several stores at Pacific Mall in Markham offer a Sony Xperia model (not sure if it is the X10, but probably). If I recall correctly it is about the same price as a Mobi branded Nexus1. I imagine there are similar sources in the other cities served by Mobi. There may also be some room to bargain on a cash deal that would not be likely in a corp store.

The X10a is also the Rogers one.

Just received one today as part of the upgrade to the family data plan.
