Anybody know the reason for the extreme lack of HD content?

NHL and NFL probably have 90-95% plus HD broadcasts. I'm gonna say baseball's been about 50% at best so far.

My best guess is with the NHL still having multiple nightly games, CI is getting the HD feeds and bandwidth that goes with it.

Same story last season too, when the regular NHL season ends on April 9, expect to see more HD MLB

I could understand that if there wasn't just one NHL game on before 5 PM and about 8 baseball games with 2 in HD.

Agreed, this has been a horrible start to the HD season for MLB, I would venture a guess that Rogers Sportsnet has had more games in HD the Extra Innings

I agree that the last couple of days have been poor for the number of hd games broadcast, closely coinciding with the end of the free preview. However by the end of the season they will have shown about 500 hd games as advertised.

Monday has 10 of 10 games shown in HD including the 3 Sportsnet games.

Why was it not like that this weekend?...Was it the centre ice?
