Well, when you select to record programming when previously-scheduled programming is nearly maxed out and what you want to record will max out the capacity, it lets you know. i.e., it won't allow you to schedule more than is allowed.
MediaRoom conflict resolution
Does anyone know the technical details of how MediaRoom picks times to record? How specifically does it handle conflicts? Anyone done any tests to see how it picks which show to record when there's conflicts?

You shouldn't be able to schedule recording a 2nd HD show. The system should tell you that it exceeds your bandwidth.
