I'm trying to set up a Hauppauge 1250 Digital Tuner in Windows 7 Media Center.

I have installed WinDVD 7 (downloaded latest from Hauppauge site today) and the tuner works fine in WinDVD

When I boot up Windows Media Center and try to set up the tuner it fails. It seems to think I have an Analog tuner.

Can't seem to find any patches on the Hauppauge site.

Any thoughts?

It's apparently a WMC issue, not a Hauppauge one. WMC doesn't know that there are ATSC broadcasts in Canada. Trying googling enabling atsc in canada for windows 7 and see if it's of any help.

I believe pnear on this site has a fix for the tuner
Related I use 1250 with EasyHDTV and it now has a great programming feature too
