Hi, I use a Microsoft MCE remote and IR receiver to control XBMC on my HTPC. Functions well. I'm in the process of relocating my home theatre equipment into a cabinet which means I'll need an IR repeater system to control the AV devices. I will need to control four devices. The MCE IR receiver comes with only two single IR emitters, meaning I can only control two devices.

Is it possible to directly plug in dual emitters (such as the Channel Vision IR-3002) in place of the single emitters supplied by Microsoft and still have the MCE receiver drive them? Or will I have to invest in an IR repeater of some sort (like the Channel Vision IR-5000)?

TIA,
Robert
