Manitoba Telecom Services Inc, (MTS) announced last week that the company is now accepting applications from high school and post-secondary students throughout Manitoba for MTS Future First scholarships.

Manitoba’s leading information and communications technology provider is offering a variety of scholarships and bursaries to choose from, giving students interested in a career in telecommunications several options as they consider where their education will take them.

“MTS Future First is all about creating opportunities,” said MTS Chief Human Resources Officer Marvin Boakye. “The scholarships and bursaries supported by MTS Future First will make it easier for students to access education and pursue their dreams.”

The scholarships are available for students attending educational institutions throughout Manitoba including the University of Winnipeg, University of Manitoba, Red River College, Université de Saint-Boniface, Brandon University, and University of the North, among others.

MTS currently provides a full suite of services for Manitobans, including Internet, wireless, TV, phone service and security systems, as well as a full suite of information solutions, including Unified Cloud and Managed Services.

“Nobody should miss out on building a bright future because they can’t afford it,” added Mr. Boakye. “MTS Future First is happy to help young people get where they want to be.”
