Lynda Steele Announced as New Consumer Reporter for CTV British Columbia
Vancouver, BC (April 12, 2011) – CTV British Columbia announced today that veteran broadcast journalist Lynda Steele will become the station's new Consumer Reporter on May 16th, 2011.

Lynda Steele is moving to CTV British Columbia from Edmonton, AB, where she has anchored Global’s 5 and 6 p.m. newscasts since 1995. Steele is an award-winning reporter and anchor who has worked in newsrooms across Western Canada. She is regarded as one of the most respected, trusted and talented broadcast journalists in the region.
This move was rumoured for quite some time after her husband accepted a new RCMP posting in BC. The "On Your Side" segment came open when Chris Olson left his role and took a job with new BC Premier Christy Clark as her Press Secretary.
