I've been going through the boxing day flyers looking for an 50 inch Plasma, and I've narrowed down to two choices:
LG 50PK250 for $699
or
Panasonic 50TC-P50S2 for $799

Which of the two is a better TV, and if the Panasonic has better image quality, is it worth the $100 price difference?

Thanks in advance

Greetings

Worth is relative. A BMW is worth it to one person and not to another. Who is right and who is wrong?

LG should be more tweakable ... toward an accurate image. The Panny has better blacks but a less accurate image ...

regards

I picked up a Panasonic tcp50c2. Panasonic's entry level unit. It's 720p but has a great picture. I sit 15 feet from the TV and HD is clear with great color and great blacks and white's. It also shows SD programming well too. I Got the TV for 599. I am more then happy with it. It's in my family room with controlled lighting so glare is not a issue. Good luck with your decision.
