
Features of the device include LG’s Optimus LTE features a 4.5" 720p HD display, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, HSPA+ and 4G LTE connectivity, an 8-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front facing camera, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a 1,830mAh battery, HDMI output, DLNA, WiFi, WiFi Direct, 2GB of internal storage, and a preloaded 8GB microSD card.
The device will come pre-loaded with several apps including the Bell Mobile TV app. The Mobile TV service is a monthly add-on for voice and data plan users. The cost is $5 per month for the first five hours of viewing and $1 an hour after that.
Bell did not provide a specific launch date nor any pricing for the Optimus. Based on the fine print in a Bell contest which gives entrants a chance to win the Optimus, blog site MobileSyrup predicts the smartphone will go on-sale on November 25th with a no contract price of $630.
