Can anyone tell me what I can do to fix my dvd recorder which refuses to record anything from my satellite tv for later viewing. It displays a message "Copy protected, cannot record" whenever I try and record something. Surely there is some code that I can enter to disable this block on the recorder. That's what it was bought for after all. To record stuff. Someone please advise. Should I just take the thing back and get a different recorder. Thanks.

I record all the time from my Bell HD PVR to a DVD Recorder, albeit in SD, never had a problem at all.

How are you connected.?
