Anyone have a clean breakdown of Cogeco's latest Ontario television rates? My previous bill was:

Aug 16 to Sep 15
Digital Select 1 - $45.99
HDPVR - $17.99
HST - $8.32
LPIF - $1.08

Now, it's:
Sep 16 to Oct 15 - Digital Select 1 - $49.39
Sep 16 to Oct 15 - HDPVR - $17.99
Oct 04 to Oct 15 - HD Access - $2.40
HST - $9.07
LPIF - $1.18

So from what I can tell, the Digital Select went up $4.00.

And now I'll be charged some HD Access fee, which for half a month is $2.40.

My whole bill went up $6.55!!!! And I don't even have Sportsnet One!!

My package was the digital select 1. I had a PVR rental, SD box rental, added the sports theme pack and National geographic.

I had the standard internet and phone packages.

My bill..wait for it....


a whopping 208 dollars a month.

I'm no longer a Cogeco customer.

The bill we just got was basically $160.
We have Digital Select 1, Home Phone Freedom Package, and Standard Internet.
I'll have to look to see if my TV went up this month.

You must have been on some promotion which ended.

Digital Select 1 has been $52.99/mo for the last few months, before that it was $51.99/mo.

HD Access is (and has been for a long time) $6/mo.

Why you're only being charged for 11 days worth of HD Access, and why you're only paying $49.39 for DS1, I have no idea... but, nope, prices haven't gone up.

Ahh, thanks DavidT. I've been with Cogeco so long, but we did move a year....Oct 3rd. When I called to transfer, I might have threatened to leave for Bell and they gave me some sort of discount for a year.

So the new price I pay will be $52.99 + $6.00 + $17.99 PVR + taxes. That's steep.
