I myself am looking for a 75” - 85” set in the next year and as much as I like OLED it probably won’t be one.

There were some huge (pardon the pun) sales on these sizes during this past boxing week. I was surprised to see how much they had come down since I bought my 75" less than 3 years ago. I also wasn't willing to pay a lot more for a smaller OLED.

57 are you still doing calibrations and have you many large size TV? How do you find the lighting across such large surface? I am thinking edge-lit must be obsolete by now. Especially with those sizes.

I have a "small" 50" Vizio P series that I really like. But the urge to go big is still there.

I stopped doing optimizations 3 years ago. I haven't found any major issues with lighting variations. Some LEDs have a narrower viewing angle than others, depending on the technology, so, when considering a TV it's good to look at it from the widest angle that is equivalent to your normal seating area.
