Jay Ingram has announced he would be stepping down from his nightly co-hosting duties at the end of the season on Daily Planet.

Ingram has been at the helm of DAILY PLANET - the world's first and only nightly science and technology show - for 16 years. Ingram joined Discovery Channel in November 1994 and helped shape the program format when it launched on January 1, 1995.

Ingram will maintain his co-hosting role until DAILY PLANET's season finale in June.

He's supposed to be staying on at the Channel doing other shows though

Maybe the pair of Jay Ingram and the CBC's Bob McDonald (Quirks & Quarks) should do some projects together - they're both terrific and enthusiastic at what they do.
