It's only the end of October but PC World has already published its best products of 2009 in which the magazine names its top 100 list of the best products of the year.
Topping the list is a service which was actually released in 2008, the Apple iTunes App store.
The magazine says it’s in awe of the store which has managed to move over 2 billion products in just 16 months and now offers over 85,000 free or in most cases very inexpensive programs.
According to PC World editors, products were chosen based on their overall quality rather than specifically on their price or value.
Rounding out PC World’s top 10 new products were the following products:
- iTunes App Store
- Google Voice (not available in Canada)
- Intel X25-M Solid State Drive 160GB
- Nikon D300S digital Camera
- Dell Latitude Z600 Laptop
- Microsoft Bing
- Canon PowerShot SX200 digital camera
- Beatle Rock Band
- Samsung LN46B750U HDTV
