For iPhone or iPad users, Zingersoft's iSSH app is a terrific solution for getting a shell login on machines running SSH daemons, and it provides server admins with lots of advanced features including tunneled X-server and VNC client use. I've been playing with it on an iPad all day and it is very feature-packed:

Of course the touchscreen keys cannot match a computer-keyboard-based login for speed, especially when editing scripts or writing code, but it sure is handy anyways when away from the server room.

I have the app but have found it confusing in terms of how to do some key combinations so i`ve been reluctant to spend more time with it. I`ll have to take another look.
