I recently purchased a 55" LED LG LE5300. as part of the purchase package, I have futureshop throw in a free ISF calibration.
What they don't tell you is that they will only calibrate 2 inputs on your TV. I did talk the technician into calibrating a third input free of charge, but he wouldn't do the balance of the inputs. What i find extremely annoying is that LG allows you the option of simply copying the calibration settings to all inputs. So rather than simply saying yes when prompted, they select the no option hold out their hand for an additional $100 to calibrate the balance of you inputs. Additionally, they lock out the ISF calibration picture mode, so that you cannot view the settings they entered and copy to the balance of the inputs. I think this is BS! it doesn't cost the technician a cent more to simply copy the settings to the balance of the inputs! it's simply gouging!
Anyway. I am hell bent on figuring out how they lock/unlock the ISF picture setting on this TV, so that I can A) copy it to the balance of my inputs, and B) so that I can turn the Truemotion option back on (which he turned off for some reason).
Would anyone happen to know how to unlock this picture mode. I know it is a sequence of keys that he pushed on the remote, but I have been unsuccessful searching on line.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
