I generally use Asus mobo's for my PCs but I find their naming structure convoluted.

For example when it comes to the P7P55D series there are at least the following boards:

P7P55D
P7P55D Deluxe
P7P55D EVO
P7P55D Pro
P7P55D Premium
P7P55D-E
P7P55D-E Pro
P7P55D-E Premium
P7P55D-E LX

Is there some method to the suffixes? Or do you have to just hunt through the spec sheets for each and every board to find what you need?

Sadly I don't think ASUS has a specific naming scheme. They really should follow Gigabyte's lead with that one.

E models= Native USB3 and sata 6Gb/s
Non E models= Suport from U3S6 PCIex4 CARD expansion gives true USB3 and sata 6Gb/s support.

Premium is the top model followed by Deluxe

Took alot of digging to find that :) there site sucks
