Hi,

I recently got an iPhone 4. FOr the first month or so, everything was great. But recently when I text people who have blackberries (or if they text me) our texts never arrive.

It used to work, but then it just stopped one day. Texts to anyone else work great, but blackberries are a no go. What's going on here?

I know one of the 3 people who have blackberries is with Bell, I'm not sure about the other two. I am with Rogers.

I just wanted to know who I should talk to about this problem, or what fixes there might be. I went to my Rogers store and they obviously didn't know anything. And I've even tried sending the verification texts "! text message" which returns a text saying "Message " text messge" successfully sent to xxx-xxx-xxxx."

Any ideas? Thanks!

Did you try to phone Rogers?

Fido iPhone user here (i.e./ Rogers) who sends texts to wife's Blackberry (Bell) all the time.

I would retry with Friends in same room just to confirm but if problem continues then its probably worth calling Rogers directly rather than going to the store.

I echo what hugh was saying: I've sent and received texts from many BB users on just about every CDN carrier with never a problem.

any resoluton? im guessing blackberry is not the problem, but happens to be a co-incidnce the other person has one, problems can not be linked to a specific phone, but area or account mis-configuration. hope this helps

Are the Bell Blackberries HSPA or CDMA devices? I have had issues in the past with messages going to or from Bell or Telus CDMA devices to any HSPA network.
