I've been playing with whistle.app (using a generic SIP account) on my iPhone and iPad and am quite happy with the quality (and obviously the per minute price!)
Problem is, this app isn't background-aware when using a SIP account, so unless the app is running in the foreground, I can't get incoming calls.
Does anyone have experience with the other apps like Bria or Truphone? Can you verify they will notify incoming calls when running in the background?
