Not me. Stupid iTunes requirement means i cant do it on the road.
Just tested Personal Hotspot with Wi-Fi iPad and Bell iPhone 4 and it worked perfectly.
Once downloaded, iTunes: Backed up the iPad, prepared the iPad for the software update, updated the iPad and finally verified the updated software.

Total time elapsed was under 4 minutes!

Downloaded for iPhone. Update was about 8 minutes.

iPad download almost 600 MB, while iPhone update was 423MB.

Why the huge difference?

Sign, no love with iPhone 3GS. I dared to dream

I do like the fact that Lock Rotation is back on the side switch but nothing of interest for me.

EDIT: Got my 3GS paired to my iPad and am cruising net

Maybe higher resolution graphics on the iPad?
Can the iPad act as a hotspot or only the iPhone?
No personal Hot Spot for 3GS?
missing hardware I guess...
Maybe I can talk my wife into swapping her iphone 4 for my "classic" and "rare" iphone 3 :)
See earlier edited post by Hugh. There is Bluetooth/USB hotspot for 3GS

Has anyone tried dialing *3001#12345#* from a 4.3 update iPhone 4? I did, it gives you a lot of information that I have no idea what is about. Can someone explain to me what information that it gives? I saw this information on a MAC blog
Yes, actually read Hugh's post in the iOS 4.3 thread about it. Got the blutooth part but have a question about USB. I guess that means yes to tether. Does that mean there exists some kind of wire to plug them together?
Apple A/V Component cables.

I have an Apple dock and the Apple component cables hooked up to my audio receiver and TV but with the upgrade the video does not seam to be working. Checked with an older phone without the upgrade and it works with that. Anybody else have this problem, I'm thinking it could have to do with the Airplay upgrade.
Going on now 3 hours I've been doing this upgrade. I guess at 700mb and being the first day of release, the download is rather bogged down.
Repakable, not surprising, guess I got in earlier.

I assume they released iOS 4.3 earlier to avoid strain on the servers when iPad2 goes on sale Friday.
I upgraded 2 iPhones, and 3 iPads last night (I guess only 2 downloads, one for each type of product).

Took a total of 30 minutes to download, an hour to update software on all devices.

I have been testing Hotspot. THIS ROCKS!!! I can now use my Wifi only iPad anywhere, to say nothing of my kids' devices and my own laptop. The iPhone knows when something is connected and turns the hotspot on and off automatically just as advertised. Beats Bluetooth tethering ANY day and it looks like it's very gentle of battery use on my iPhone (although this is preliminary).

This is another one of those milestones in my own personal computing experience.

I'm also reading forums about the cost of doing this on AT&T (iOS 4.3 isn't available for the Verizon iPhone) and it's nice to know that for the first time, I feel like as Canadians, we're coming out ahead of our neighbours to the south.

Thanks Apple and Rogers!
Sigh. Wish there was an update for iPhone 3G.

At least six attempts and well over two hours of trying to update my iPhone 4 (first attempt - an "update" - failed, leaving the iPhone in some nether-state, making subsequent attempts having to be "restores").

iMac refused to success (Error 1013 - which popped up probably 90% of the way through the process). Tried different USB cables. Different USB ports. Then, tried the MacBook Air. First try went without a hitch.

This was a jailbroken iPhone at 4.1, so that may explain why the original update failed. But not sure why I couldn't get the iMac to do a successful restore...

The iPad, on the other hand: not a problem. Update went exactly as it should have on the iMac. Go figure.
Nuje:

A 1013 is when it can't reach the Apple servers at gs.apple.com. Some of the jailbreak processes add entries to your hosts file (/etc/hosts) to redirect it. If there are any entries in there for gs.apple.com, comment them out (put a # in front of the line) and the problem should go away
