With the 530 I just plugged in the line when I wanted to order a PPV. With the 630, I find this does not work well/reliably. The couple times I got it to work, I plugged the line in 1/2 hr. before and left it plugged in for the entire movie, then forced a reportback after the movie was done, then unplugged.
I tried to purchase a movie two days before it was on and set it to record. While plugged in, this seemed to work, it said it purchased, but when the recording event happened, the movie only had the 5min preview recorded, and the purchase never showed up in my purchases window, so no luck.
