I was looking at some Infinity Speakers (TSS450) at F.S. for my basement. This is my first speaker purchase so I'm new at this. Anyone know anything about these speakers? I understand Infinity has a good reputation. Thanks!

I have always liked Infinity speakers. I started with a pair of RS-1s for my mains, a cc-1, and minuettes for surround. When I upgraded I went with Alpha 20s for the FL, FR, C, RC, and still use the RS-1s for surround. Infinity has a reputation for having a very flat response (which is good). A couple of my friends have Paradigm. These are also very good speakers, but I like my Inftinities just as much and they did not cost as much.

My first real speakers were Infinity Reference 4's. They are sitting in their original boxes right now, but they still sound awesome! I've also got a CC-1 sitting around somewhere. My current speakers are Infinity Interlude 60's, an Interlude 36 center channel, and Alpha 25ES mono/di/bi-pole surrounds. I've had other brands in my home over the years, but I've always had a soft spot in my heart for Infinity.
