I would go with the "DRIcore Subfloor Tile System", it only raise's the floor 7/8" and drywall directly to the joist's or at the most use 1" strapping.

For soundproofing instead a double wall maybe go with the RESILIENT SOUND ISOLATION CLIPS RSIC-1 they only eat up 2"
