hi guys, I just found out my brand new HTR-6295 is not compatible with 3D components. Is there a firmware update that can fix this? If not, which reciever would you guys suggest in the $1000.00 price range? I have stuck with yamaha for the last 6 years and I like the way they function... very user friendly!!

HTR-6295, can it be 3D ready?

I bought one and met a yamaha rep. after buying it. He said there is no firmware update for 3D on this model and apparently it cannot be done.
thanks...I exchanged the reciever for a pioneer SC-1525 I'm liking it,,, but I miss the night time mode for sound and for some reason it turns off when the tv is turned on?!? Anyone know what it could be? I turned off all my 12v triggers
