This really appears to be a netbook without the clamshell so I can't see why you would pay twice the price of a netbook.

I agree. HP releasing it came as a surprise to me since they recently purchased Palm.

A Palm OS tablet is still coming.

Yeah, this pricing seems way out of whack for what you are getting - a keyboardless netbook. It almost looks like they couldn't produce it for a reasonable price, so they slapped the "business" label on it and are going to try selling it that way. I don't anticipate it selling well at that price point.

This bastard child got pretty much destroyed in reviews, but the funniest thing about was the fact that it's got a pull-out slide tray with the Windows license sticker on it. Apparently MS still requires that any Windows OS device must have it's clunky green license sticker on it just like your old laptop or tower PC. HP had to design a pull out tray just to hide it :eek:

Look forward to seeing their WebOS offering.
