I'm thinking about picking up a laptop as a desk top replacement. I already bought a small netbook for portability. We are in the process of moving across the country and may be in a condo for a brief period of time, so we thought a laptop would be easier to move around.
We basically just do simple net surfing. I sometimes stream boxing matches from overseas that are not televised in N.America. I may do very occasional light gaming (Sims, Civilization, Hockey) but am not a gamer at all.
I'm looking at units around $500 - $600. An I-5 with 4 gb RAM.
One of the units has ATi Mobility Radeon HD 4250 Graphics. I think that would be adequate, but I am not sure. I don't trust the advice of the kids at the big box store. Is this enough for my needs?
