Well, I just pulled up the Digital Home on my iPad Wifi with Wifi turned off.

How did I do it:

• Installed iOS 4.3 on both my iPad and my iPhone 3GS
• Turned on Personal Hotspot on my iPhone 3GS and said connect via Bluetooth
• Turned on Bluetooth on my iPad
• Paired to my iPhone 3GS
• Confirmed through dialog box on both devices.

Started surfing.

I have tested several apps and they all seem to have internet access.

When you bring up the Personal Hotspot option in my 3GS, there is no WiFi option, only Connect using Bluetooth and Connect using USB.

Does the iPhone have a "Connect using Wifi" option?

iPod Touch (at least my son's which is 2nd gen) does not have Bluetooth.

You could always tether via Bluetooth but not with iPad on Fido/Rogers
