One of my customer has a DVR coax video connected to Rogers cable through a RF modulator. He was able to watch the DVR output on channel 556 and 998 before. However, lately after he got Rogers new STB, the cable channel shows it is connected to the DVR, but it doesn't display the picture. Instead of DVR output it continue to display the Rogers channel.

How can I fix this, so he can display DVR output on select channels?
Thank you

It would be good if we had a lot more information.

1. Make/model of DVR
2. Make/model of STB
3. Make/model of TV
4. Any other connected equipment?
5. Does "DVR" need to record?
6. Connections between all devices.
7. What exactly are you trying to display from what device to what device?

I am wondering.. if prior to this, there was NO STB? And was watching them on those channels (those are often ones used for security cameras, etc).

Now with the STB.. trying to watch them and it wont come through, as its an analog signal, not digital?

If the STB (depending on which one it is, the SD box or higher) and connected via video cables, should be able to connect the RF modulator to the coax input on the TV, then switch TV inputs to go back and forth to it.
(wouldn't work, with the DTA, as it only connects via coax)

The box you are using , a newer one, likely does not have an analog tuner in it like the older models. You would need something like a QAM modulator
