I have old hitachi speakers (early 90s) with were pretty good quality at the time ( they cost about 1000$ at the time).

What it the easiest way to hook them up with their copper wires to to my LG tv without having to buy an expensive amplifier. Will it improve the sound from my tv with my old speakers compared to my tv speakers I'm using now ?

thanks

I have a pair of 32 year old Tangent TM1 speakers attached to my A/V receiver and they work fine. Does that TV have external speaker connections? However, one thing to bear in mind, that TV might not have enough power to drive those speakers properly. You'll likely need some sort of amp. What audio outputs does that TV have? My A/V receiver is connected via digital cable to my PVR

I don't know much about audio hookups on my tv.
It's an 42Lg7d

•SRS TruSurrund XT™
•2 HDMI™ with HDCP

But I guess like you guys say my tv might need an amplifier to get enough power for good sound ! There are no copper wires connectors on my tv.
