Not sure why he's not posted since February.

 

ImageEvent has always been important to him. I find it difficult to understand why he hasn't renewed it.

He has made important contributions to this forum.

I know his real name.

I don't see an obit.

He is 73 now.

 

Well that is good.
It is possible he is ill.
Perhaps he is on facebook.
I recall he was spending a lot of time with family and grand children.

You would think that at least 1 member on one of the forums would have his phone number.

found holl_ands encyclopedia of antenna research active today. greatly appreciate his extensive work and willingness to share with us all. Thanks Holl_ands!

 

I contacted ImageEvent few days ago to renew the premium subscription on behalf of holl_ands. I never received an answer. I'm glad we can still access his valuable content.

 

Been about a year, and it seems we are missing holl_ands' image event again.
subscription must have expired again

 

Sub still has not be renewed this time. It would really be sad to loose all that research and resulting data. Maybe the community can look into keeping the site alive even if holl_ands isn't able to.

nikiml's website has disappeared too. I thought about auto-downloading holl_ands' entire site the last time it went offline, but never ended up doing it when it came back. I have some of their nec files, but only a small fraction of what they had available.

 

Nikiml changed servers once before - I’m hoping that’s what’s happened here and we haven’t caught up with it/him yet. I’m glad I DL’d his GH0 plan when I built mine rather than referencing it online.

I’m back….my wife and I took a while to recover from our strokes a while ago….her first and then me a year later….but she is mostly recovered and I’m firing on most of my cylinders. Got a couple computers that need fixing before I’m back to where I was before….I’ve got 1 overclocked 12-tread desktop still running plus Apple iPhone and new iPad that are useless for running Antenna design programs.

I’ve visited several times over the past several years but didn’t see any real NEED to run some more optimizations after I posted New Band FF4 and FF6.

I can’t believe my imageevent acct expired….how could I have missed the email reminder….or maybe I saw it back in August and figured no rush cuz it didn’t expire for 3 months….and forgot about it. It’s now good to go.
