Sirius Canada this week announced its upcoming holiday channel line-up which features five limited run channels featuring contemporary and traditional holiday favorites, country music versions of holiday hits and classical holiday music.

Stations, some of which begin as early as November 16th, to choose from include Holly, Holiday Traditions, Holiday Pops, Country Christmas and Radio Hannukkah.



The following is an overview of what's on Sirius Canada.
  • Holly, will feature contemporary holiday music as well as traditional favourites, including songs by John Mayer, Colbie Caillat, Josh Groban and Michael Buble. Holly goes on air November 16th and runs through New Year's Eve, December 31 on Sirius channel 3.
  • Holiday Traditions will feature traditional holiday recordings from the '40s through the '60s by artists such as Bing Crosby, Andy Williams, Ray Conniff and Nat "King" Cole. Traditions goes on air November 16th and runs until the end of Christmas day on Sirius Channel 4.
  • Holiday Pops will broadcast carols sung by the greatest classical musicians of all-time including the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Luciano Pavarotti, Boston Pops and Leontyne Price among others. Holiday Pops will air beginning December 7 and runs until the end of Christmas day on Sirius Channel 79.
  • Country Christmas will feature a wide-ranging assortment of country Christmas music, including Garth Brooks, Carrie Underwood and Kenny Rogers. Country Christmas will air beginning December 7 and runs until the end of Christmas day on Sirius Channel 62.
  • Radio Hanukkah will broadcast a celebration showcasing Hanukkah music and Jewish culture. Radio Hanukkah will air from December 7th to December 19th on Sirius Channel 76.
