Model numbers for electronics are often different in Canada. They may have small differences from the US models for the Canadian market. Some large retailers sometimes have in-house model numbers. I assume it's to stop price matching or to disguise the fact they are last year's models.

It may not be as common now but manufacturers have been known to downgrade major components, such as panels, with a small or no change in model number. It's wise to check things like that before purchasing. I've seen cases where a TV had a major downgrade in panel quality a few months into the model year. That's good for the manufacturer's bottom line but bad for consumers.

Another good review and all around great tv for the price. If you are looking for an LED LCD you don’t need to look any further regardless of price with the one exception being gaming. If you are a gamer then there are better options out there for that.
