I am trying to get the time clock to show on the display rather than the channel that is playing on the PVR. I think I've seen the setting before, but can't remember
where. Any help is appreciated.

Press Menu twice to get to General Settings. Scroll down to Display: Power ON and cursor right to change the setting.
