I'm thinking of switching from Illico to Bell this summer, and noticed that many channels are listed as HD only (abc, nbc, etc). Do we also get the SD feeds on those channels - I'm asking as the second tv, in the bedroom, is SD only.
I'm not sure about those channels specifically, however, there are several channels, like HDNet, which are HD only. You can watch these on an SDTV with the appropriate connections from an HD STB... They will, of course, be letterboxed (16:9) on an SDTV.
The reason I said they were HD only is because on Bell's channel list, http://www.bell.ca/web/tv/en/qc/pdfs/channels/channels.pdf , channels liks ABC/NBC/etc are only listed in the HD box, not under SD. So then I am understanding that even though they are not listed as SD, we also get the SD feed, correct?
