Anybody experiencing all messed up HD channels?

Like about half are showing audio only and no video. And about a quarter of them are jumbled... for example Rush HD is playing on channel 547 TSN2 while National Geographic channel 562 audio is playing over 544. HD Net 545 has been replaced with HD Oasis 564.

The techs first were blaming my remote saying it must be pulling up the wrong channels, but later said it must be weather related (?!?)

They were fixed the next day. Someone said it was part of a deliberate system upgrade. Makes no sense why they would blame my remote or the weather.

Why can't the people doing these "upgrades" communicate with the people who have to answer customer calls? They could say "We're going to be tampering with the system today. If any customers call just apologize, give them a credit for the disruption, and tell them it will be fixed by (date, time)"

Although I can't (and won't) comment about any specific knowledge I have about Access, I'd say that chances are very good that the technicians doing the scheduled maintenance had made precisely the information you talk about available to all staff. Whether the staff that received the notification took the time to read such notifications is another matter...in this case, it appears to not be the case.
