I just purchased a Logitech Harmony 600 and love the device. I found the documentation supplied pretty poor, downloaded the User Manual and found it just as useless. Finally I resorted to the old fashioned trial and error method and while I have to admit I am not the brightest at something like this, after a couple of false starts I had everything working the way I wanted. Naming and reassigning buttons, once one learns it can be done (not well documented), as well as using the screen "pages" seems to be the key.

Now I am amazed at how well the 600 works, and at the incredible number of devices supported, I even found support for what I consider is a pretty rare device, a Sangean Internet Radio, All this for $89.99. So what if it is monochrome! I have no need for a colour screen nor for Channel icons, seeing as I use a PVR (Shaw) in any case and use the Guide or List of recordings.

I presume the higher end models do even more but for me the 600 is perfect.

Sounds like a good buy. I'm in the market for the same device. What are you using it to control? (I want to use it mainly to run my HTPC, particularly the VLC media player program). Also, where did you get it - I looked online at Best Buy and couldn't find it (the 650 was $99)

I am controlling 3 devices only, a Samsung 7000 series TV (2010 3D model), older Shaw Motorola 6412 series 3 cable box and a Sangean Internet Radio, model WFR-20. All work perfectly.

I purchase it at a local London Drugs, as far as I know this seemed to be their regular price.

Bought a Harmony 700 from TD for $89 two weeks ago. Color screen, channel logos, rechargeable cradle, etc. My wife immediately adopted it and the maze of remotes we had is now gone. All replaced by one.
