Their literature is somewhat confusing. The output from their antenna to the preamp is coax.

Well, the old tried and true fix for that is to locate the local noise problem and eliminate it. Generally in most cases, thats easier than trying to filter it out, heh.being promoted as a solution over those frequencies to improve reception that would be otherwise complicated by local noise:
