The heavily promoted Wave project is being terminated without ever leaving prototype status.

Personally, I was on the beta for this, and I found it cumbersome and somewhat overwhelming to use. Any other Wave users out there?

I tried it for a while, but saw no point to it really. I can see it in a Corporate setting more than personal, though. I think the niche market was just too small. Not to mention the app was incredibly complex for a simple task.

Agreed. It definitely had some cool aspects and would have made an excellent business tool but it needed to be marketed and explained to large groups of people in order to work

I thought it was neat, but I never really found it particularly useful, and I had a hell of a time convincing others to try it and never got anyone to use it regularly.

Cool app, but yeah very niche as it was. But the technology will work well when applied to Gmail and what not. Just not a mass market product.
