Lots of email? Google is going one step further to help you manage it. The mega-company has unveiled a new gadget for its email users this week: a tool that writes artificially intelligent responses to your email messages, for you.

The new ‘smart reply’ button is part of an update to the company’s Inbox app that manages and organizes email. The tool analyzes your incoming mail and identifies which message could uses a quick response, giving the sender three choices of replies to choose from before the message is sent.

As people use smart reply, Google’s own computers are going to be keeping track of data and learning which automated replies work best for senders.

According to reports, the new feature is now available to consumers who use the free version of Inbox, as well as the more than 2 million businesses that pay for Google’s suite of applications designed for work.

Maybe this will help reduce the thousands of messages to hundreds.
