Anyone else having problems getting to Google News (Canada) or Google Maps?

I've noticed issues getting to some sites that have ads from Google too, including this one...

Everything was fine this morning and I've rebooted my computer (Mac G5, Firefox 3.6.13, Rogers)

Perhaps a Rogers localized issue since others are posting here and I've seen no other complaints?

I had a problem on one other site today which appeared to be google related but nothing else.

Very odd. I just tried Safari and it's the same. I can disable JavaScript to get to some sites, but I can't get to Google either way and of course many sites don't work properly without JavaScript.

I think you mean Javascript.

Digital Home, like many sites, uses Javascript but not Java.

Yes, JavaScript. I called Rogers and apparently others have the same issue. It's a "known issue" and they're working on it...

I'm on Teksavvy (which users Rogers Pipes) but am having no problems.

My guess is its a Deep Packet Inspection issue with Rogers.

It seemed to be area specific. Reboot your computer and your modem. If it's still an issue, give them a call or shoot them an e-mail. There have been no issues here, outside of the IMDb thread recently created.
