This week Google launched a new feature to its website that lets searchers customize their Google search by re-ranking, deleting, adding, and commenting on search results.

Google says the new feature, SearchWiki is an example of how search is becoming increasingly dynamic and results more personalized.

Users who conduct similar searches on a regular basis will be able to delete particular sites from future searches or re-rank known sites so that results from that site appear higher in your search ranking. In addition, users will be able to leave notes about particular sites for future reference or remove results they don't feel belong.

The SearchWiki modifications will only be shown when the searcher is signed into their Google account because all the modifications are stored with their Google Account. If you are not signed in, the regular Google search rules apply.
