Global 2018-2019 Fall Schedule

Global TV must have dropped Chicago Fire and Chicago Med from their new fall lineup. I am wondering are they picked up by City tv or probably will just have to Chicago Fire and Chicago Med on NBC in the fall.

I was wondering about Chicago Fire and Med as well. We will know once City releases their schedules. Only other option would be that they end up on one of their cable offerings.

NBC will rearrange the shows for the first Chicago 3-way crossover on Oct. 3: Chicago Fire, Chicago Med and Chicago P.D. (Source) If you watch on Global, you may have to record the shows to watch them in order unless Global changes their schedule.

I also noticed that Global put Chicago Fire in the Friday slot that they had originally reserved for Midnight, Texas. We'll have to see what happens on Oct. 26. when it premieres.

Did Global totally botch their June schedule announcement and forget to include Chicago Fire and Chicago Med or did they change their mind and grab the shows after no one else did.

Probably a matter of they didn't know where they were going to go on the schedule. There could have been ongoing negotiations on costs at the time of the June schedule announcement.

Any word, @Dr.Dave, on Midnight, Texas (S2)? So far it doesn't appear on Global's schedule.

I also noticed that Global put Chicago Fire in the Friday slot that they had originally reserved for Midnight, Texas. We'll have to see what happens on Oct. 26. when it premieres.

It doesn't look good for Midnight, Texas. I checked a little while ago and noticed the show had been removed from the shows list. The old page is still there, but hasn't been updated for season 2. The series is only on NBC, so either Global will show it on demand, hold it until later or drop it altogether.

ABC will preempt Dancing With The Stars: Juniors on Sunday Nov. 4 with a two-hour Mickey Mouse Special, so Global will take advantage of the empty slot to air Chicago Med at 8 PM ET. This is a better ratings spot than the Saturday night dead zone which will get an extra rerun of Private Eyes.

No big change at CTV - they will air a rerun of Shark Tank instead of a new episode.

BC Premier John Horgan and the province’s Opposition Leader Andrew Wilkinson are going head to head over the issue of electoral reform. Both have agreed to a live, commercial-free debate, which will be broadcast by CBC British Columbia and Global BC across the province on television, radio, and online. The 30-minute debate will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. PT.

Joint press release from the Corus site.

----

I double-checked the Global site to see if season 2 of Midnight, Texas is available for streaming and it's not there.

----

Global will air the movie Jurassic World (2015) in primetime on Tuesday, Nov. 6, since the U.S. networks will be covering the U.S. election.
