Shaw has recently introduced gigabit internet. I signed up for it this morning and I am getting great speeds. I renewed my 2-year plan since my old plan was up in July.

What speed do you get over WiFi?

I had gigabit with Rogers, backed down to 500. No noticeable difference to be honest. Except the fees

Just returned my Technicolor. Totally limited use.
Extreme speed degradation if bridged (search Comcast forums)
'750' service provided 500
(If not bridged, speed hit 800)
Very slow ramp up to full speed on speed test, although down load perfect.
No second IP address if bridged.
Port Forwarding done through SHAW site
No local config backup
Runs hot, new Comcast 4 port model has vents in top.
If not used for IPTV, pointless.
Back to '300' Hitron, which SHAW won't provision for higher speeds.
