I have to vent.

I've had the Fibe25/phone service for two weeks, and wow I'm having a hard time. A technician has been here practically every second day, if not for the HSI then for the phone. Intermittent static (bad) on the phone, intermittent dropped connections on the internet. The first week they sent phone technicians, who messed up the Fibe 25. Then they got the Fibe 25 working, but the phone has static. Thursday they told me there was a leak on the line. Friday the technician "forgot" to show up. Yesterday the guy showed up and said he couldn't find anything wrong (admittedly the service was good yesterday -- but today it's a bit windy). Today I've been sitting around all afternoon waiting for another technician, wondering if they'll show up.

I'm seeing more of the Bell technicians than my own mother. Anyone else having this trouble? Would it be any better if I switched to Rogers?

Sorry to hear about your pain.

I tend to go with the three strikes and your out rule. If three technicians show up and they still can't fix the problem then time to look elsewhere.

Thanks. I think you're right - they didn't show up today, I waited for 6 hours (again). Even though I called to confirm this morning. Now they tell me "tomorrow". I'm livid. If they don't come tomorrow, and fix it, I'm cancelling.

I "think" it's finally fixed. 2 Bell repairmen showed up today, one for the internet and the other for the phone. Well, I give that A for effort. They replaced the outside line, apparently the Fibe25 was connected to an old line that couldn't support it. Or something. Fingers crossed but I'm hoping that's the last I'll see of Bell - no offence to the parade of installers who have come through my door over the past 2+ weeks!
