The Europa League match, Man City v Lech Poznan was susposed to be on right now but only the audio was working while the video was on the stadium the previous broadcast came from. Then they just switched it completely to some South America game. They should just shut the channel down now.

Fox Sports Canada Ch.412

ExpressVu Channel 412 is saying that Fox Sports World Canada will no longer be available after Nov 23/10 (tomorrow) the TV grid is still showing it for the balance of the week at least.... anyone know what gives here ? and what is going into its slot ? This also means I'll miss SkySports at midnight and or 7am.

Yes I believe it is ending today. As for the Guide Data being there for the full week, I am not surprised, it is probably just as easy to load it all, than create some custom Guide saying, "Sucks to be You, wanting this Channel"......

Not Sure what happened, after 3 days of test pattern with no signal available displayed Fox SportsWorld Canada is back on the air with BellAliant FibreOP. I wonder if they negotiated a different deal than BellTV, maybe they'll do the same with HDNet!!

Fox Sports World Canada is still alive and kicking.

Shaw Cable bought Canwest who owned FSWC and so in the process ended up owning FSWC. They then decided to not license it to Bell anymore so you cannot get it on satellite - just cable. BellAliant must have negotiated their own deal.

Do you know this as a fact? Seems strange. Why wouldn't they also cut it off from Rogers? They are also competitors after all.

The decision was made back in July when FSWC's programming warranted a bullet in the forehead. But since then, they have added 2 live Serie A matches and 1 Ligue One match per weekend, as well as Europa League coverage.

The reasons most likely lie with negotiations/money matters but hard not to feel - as a soccer fan - as screwed again!!!
